RESPACK recently conducted a community-focused school outreach program at SJK(C) Shang Wu, aimed at educating upper primary school girls about menstrual hygiene and personal well-being. Held in a positive and encouraging environment, the session helped students better understand the physical changes associated with puberty, recognise menstruation as a natural stage of development, and gain confidence in managing their daily hygiene routines.
An important highlight of the program was a hands-on demonstration by the Activ team, who guided students on the correct use of Activ sanitary pads. Participants were introduced to Activ Ultra Thin Pads and their key advantages, including strong absorbency, comfortable wear, and a slim, discreet design suitable for school life. The demonstration also included clear instructions on proper application, removal, and responsible disposal.
To extend the learning experience beyond the classroom, each participant received a sample pack to take home, enabling them to further familiarise themselves with menstrual care products and reinforce what they had learned during the session. Open conversations were encouraged throughout the program, allowing students to ask questions, clarify misconceptions, and develop healthy and positive menstrual hygiene habits.
