RESPACK recently conducted a school outreach program at SJK(C) Hwa Min, aimed at educating upper primary school girls on menstrual hygiene and personal care. Held in a supportive and encouraging environment, the session helped students understand the physical and emotional changes of puberty, normalise menstruation as a natural process, and gain confidence in managing their personal hygiene independently.
A highlight of the program was a hands-on demonstration by the Activ team, where students learned the proper way to use Activ sanitary pads. The girls were introduced to Activ Ultra Thin Pads and their key benefits, including reliable absorbency, comfortable wear, and a slim, discreet design suitable for active school life. The demonstration also included instructions on correct application, removal, and responsible disposal.
To extend the learning experience beyond the classroom, each participant received a sample pack to take home, allowing them to practice proper menstrual care and reinforce the knowledge shared during the session. Open discussions were encouraged throughout the program, allowing students to ask questions, clarify doubts, and develop healthy and positive hygiene habits.
