In our manufacturing plant, our QA laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art testing equipment. Our quality control checks, production processes and manufacturing floor have been certified and audited by renown certification body TUV Germany for ISO13485 Medical Devices certification. 

Respack is the first face mask manufacturer in Malaysia to be certified by the Korea Food Drug Authority (KFDA) for our KF94 surgical face masks. Users of Respack’s medical-grace face masks can now be doubly assured of the quality of our face masks, which has been certified by the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) to be safe. Respack’s medical grade face masks are certified to achieve 98% of bacterial filtration efficiency and are entirely made up of multiple material layers that give optimum protection and comfort. It is waterproof, made of non-woven fabric (outer) and (inner) melt blown fabric filtering layer, which effectively waterproof and isolate droplets.

SMETA is Sedex’s social auditing methodology, enabling businesses to assess their sites and suppliers to understand working conditions in their supply chain.
 
A SMETA audit was conducted which included some or all of Labour Standards, Health & Safety, Environment and Business Ethics.
 
Pillar 1: Labour Standards
According to the SMETA Labour Standards, companies need to ensure full benefits for employees regarding freedom of choice of employment, unions, regulations on the use of child workers, working time and the working environment, as well as good relationship between employers and employees.
 
 Pillar 2:  Health & Safety
To build a safe and hygienic work environment, hazards need to be identified from the outset. At the same time, they need to take measures to prevent accidents and factors adversely affecting workers’ health. All new or reappointed workers at all stages must receive periodic health and safety training along with complete related documentation. Ensure workers have access to clean and hygienic facilities.If workers are provided with accommodation, it is necessary to ensure cleanliness and safety regulations according to the labour law as well.
 
Pillar 3: Environment
According to SMETA standards, businesses need to ensure the working environment in accordance with the law on environmental concerns.Companies can prove their legality in relation to environmental matters by having an environmental policy and commitment to address environmental concerns and constant improving the quality of the environment with positive measures
 
Pillar 4: Business Ethics
According to SMETA standards, businesses must not have corruption, bribery or fraudulent in their practice. They must:
– Meet the laws on anti-corruption, bribery and business fraud.
– Have a legal system in place to prove that the business complies with anti-corruption, bribery and business fraud laws;
– Develop policies on business ethics;
– Appoint individuals responsible for the conduct of business ethics.
