RESPACK recently organised a school-based outreach initiative at SJK(C) Sin Ya to provide upper primary school girls with important knowledge on menstrual hygiene and personal care. Conducted in a supportive and welcoming environment, the session guided students in understanding the changes that occur during puberty, recognising menstruation as a natural and healthy part of growing up, and developing confidence in managing their personal hygiene.
A key component of the program was an interactive demonstration led by the Activ team, where students learned the correct way to use Activ sanitary pads. The girls were introduced to Activ Ultra Thin Pads and their benefits, including reliable absorbency, lasting comfort, and a slim, discreet design suitable for everyday school routines. Proper methods of application, removal, and responsible disposal were also clearly explained.
To reinforce learning after the session, each participant received a sample pack to take home, allowing them to become more familiar with menstrual care products and apply what they had learned. The session also encouraged open discussion, giving students the opportunity to ask questions, address common misunderstandings, and develop positive and healthy menstrual hygiene practices.
